Sponsored Placement Terms

The rules for paid advertising and sponsored placements on HUBZ.

Version 0.1Status: draft
Draft document. Final wording to be reviewed by HUBZ legal adviser before public launch.
These documents are provided as HUBZ draft policies and terms. They should be reviewed and approved by a qualified Australian lawyer before public launch.

1. About Sponsored Placements

HUBZ offers paid Sponsored Placements including Premium Community HUB Placement and Sponsored Category Placement. Placements are clearly labelled as "Sponsored" on HUBZ.

2. Availability and waitlists

Placement slots are limited. Where a slot is unavailable, businesses may join a waitlist. Being on a waitlist is not a guarantee of availability.

3. Pricing

Pricing for each placement type is shown at purchase. Pricing may change from time to time.

4. Campaign dates

Each placement runs for the campaign dates purchased. Placements activate on the start date if payment is confirmed and end on the end date automatically.

5. Admin approval

All placements are subject to HUBZ admin approval. HUBZ may reject or remove placements that breach the Terms of Use, are misleading or inappropriate, or breach applicable advertising or consumer law.

6. Ad images and attached offers

Ad images and any attached offers must comply with HUBZ community standards and applicable law. Businesses must have the right to use any images or logos submitted.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Sponsored placements improve visibility but do not guarantee sales, clicks, redemptions or customer purchases. Actual performance depends on many factors HUBZ does not control.

8. Refunds and cancellations

Cancellation and refund rules for a placement are those shown at purchase. If HUBZ removes a placement for breach of these Terms, refunds are at HUBZ's discretion. If HUBZ removes a placement for reasons outside your control (for example a system outage), HUBZ will offer a pro-rata credit or refund.

9. Performance tracking

HUBZ provides impression, click, redemption and other reporting for sponsored placements in the Business Dashboard. Reports are provided for information only.

10. Truthful advertising

All content in a sponsored placement must be truthful and comply with Australian consumer law, including the prohibition on misleading or deceptive conduct.

11. Prohibited content

Placements must not contain prohibited content, including but not limited to adult content, illegal products or services, hate content, misleading medical claims or content targeted at minors that breaches applicable law.
